Honey MINI Vest

Honey MINI Vest is made from cotton and features beautiful Suzani embroidery placed on both the front and the back. The vest has bindings in the main fabric along all edges and is lined with striped cotton. It has two front pockets and closes with three tie bands at the front. The embroidery includes lovely floral motifs such as poppies and sunflowers, along with a sweet ‘SE’ signature motif on the back.

This Suzani embroidered item is decorated with the manually controlled chain stitch technique of Suzani embroidery. Our Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans, mostly using the tambour to create a unique and vivid Suzani embroidery pattern. The name “Suzani” comes from the Persian word su-zan, meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitching that is the hallmark of Suzani embroidery. Due to the manually controlled nature of Suzani embroidery, you may notice small variations from one garment to another that add to the unique charm of a Suzani decorated item.
